Visiting the Parade of Homes models in person offers a great opportunity to meet some of the area’s premier builders as they open their doors to their finest products.

The Parade of Homes promotes homeownership and professionalism, and increases the public’s awareness of BAGI members. It is promoted on WTHR TV and on the station’s website throughout the year.

The Parade of Homes website provides everything customers need to find the homes they want to visit, with directories to help narrow their search and provide them with complete information about each home. People can plan their tour easily by logging onto the website and choosing just the homes that meet their specific criteria.

The Parade of Homes website remains one of the most-effective marketing tools available to the housing industry. The Parade of Homes is a great opportunity for builders to display new floor plans and features and to start building relationships with potential customers.


Home-A-Rama gives visitors an exclusive glimpse into the latest and greatest local home designs, landscaping trends, decorating innovations and state-of-the-art technology. It provides area homebuilders, designers and suppliers a chance to showcase their skills and talents to the public. On average, 35,000 people tour the Home-A-Rama during its three-week run.

In addition to a diverse selection of homes, Home-A-Rama offers visitors a chance to browse the products and services of several suppliers and Builders Association builder, remodeler and associate members.


BAGI membership is promoted at the Indianapolis Home Show, providing attendees with information about new-home construction. Several thousand of the BAGI Home Building and Remodeling Directory handbooks are given out to attendees every year, further educating the public about the importance of doing business with a BAGI member.

Attendance at the Indianapolis Home Show is generally in the 95,000-100,000 range for the 10-day event. Indianapolis Home Show is the nation’s oldest and the Midwest’s largest home-focused extravaganza, held annually at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. It is the largest consumer home event in Indiana, and the perfect place to promote BAGI, new-home construction, and the importance of doing business with a member.

Habitat for Humanity is an ecumenical Christian ministry that provides low-income individuals and families the life-changing opportunity to purchase and own simple, quality, affordable homes. Habitat for Humanity partners with hired contractors (such as BAGI members), volunteers and the future homeowners to build or rehab the homes. Many BAGI members and their companies support Habitat for Humanity.
