Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis Welcomes John Kisiel as Director of Government Affairs
Indianapolis, IN – July 30th, 2025 – The Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI) is pleased to announce the appointment of John Kisiel as its new Director of Government Affairs, effective Monday, August 11.
John brings more than 20 years of experience in legislative strategy, regulatory affairs, and advocacy within the housing and development sectors. He has held influential roles with the Wisconsin Builders Association, the Housing & Building Association of Colorado Springs, and Fairway Outdoor Advertising/Clear Channel Outdoor, where he successfully led and advanced key policy initiatives at both local and state levels.
“John’s depth of experience and proven leadership in housing policy and government relations make him a strong addition to the BAGI team,” said Chris Hancock, CEO of BAGI. “As our industry faces both challenges and opportunities across the region, John’s insight will be instrumental in strengthening our advocacy efforts and ensuring that BAGI continues to be a leading voice in shaping smart growth and development for residential new home construction.”
John holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
As Director of Government Affairs, John will work closely with local officials, BAGI members, and industry stakeholders to promote policies that support responsible growth, housing affordability, and a healthy business climate for builders and developers throughout Central Indiana.
