BAGI is proud to have a talented, hardworking team that is dedicated to living out the BAGI mission for the benefit of our membership and industry. And we loved celebrating them this last month!

Celebrating 40 Years at BAGI

CELEBRATING 40 YEARS AT BAGI

40-Years

We pulled off the biggest surprise for our beloved CFO, Rosemary! Family, friends, staff and members gathered to celebrate Rosemary’s upcoming 40th anniversary with BAGI. Yes, 40! It was a wonderful evening celebrating the fun, hardworking and incredible woman she is.

We appreciate all the people who donated, attended or sent in words of appreciation and love for Rosemary.

“Thank you to all who came and surprised me at my anniversary gathering; believe me I was quite surprised and a little overwhelmed with all the well wishes! I would also like to thank all the folks that were unable to attend but sent their kind words through an email, text or card. To look back over my years at the Association I think the things that keep me energized and at the same time nervous is how things are always changing. To think of all the people that have come and gone is amazing and each one is unique and brought value and perspective to my life. It doesn’t hurt to work with a staff that you truly care (love) deeply about and that have been thru live with you. I am truly blessed. I like to tell people that BAGI raised me and in a sense in my professional career they have, each and every person has taught me something. So from my heart I would like to say THANK YOU and may our paths continue to cross.”

Rhonda-retirement

HAPPY RETIREMENT, RHONDA!

While honoring Rosemary, we were also able to celebrate our administrative assistant, Rhonda Malatestinic, and wish her a happy, happy retirement! We appreciate her years of service for the association and will miss seeing her bright, smiling face in the office every day. Rhonda is excited to travel, visit her mom and spend extra time with her family.

“I truly couldn’t ask for a better work family! The membership, the committees (especially my fun committee!) and everyone involved in the association is so helpful and incredible. These young professionals that are coming in and joining the membership are amazing and I look forward to hearing how they continue to grow and lead BAGI. Thank you all!”

The team has also been busy training and welcoming two new faces in the BAGI office:

Kim-Johnson

KIM JOHNSON, EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Welcome Kim!

Kim comes to us with knowledge in residential sales and commercial as well as industrial construction. She worked as a Lead Safety Adminstrator for an industrial construction company here in Indianapolis for several years. Kim is excited to join BAGI as our Executive Assistant.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time with family, working out and loving on her sweet King Charlies Cavalier, Gracie. Kim and her husband are also currently enjoying the experience of building their new home!

“I am very excited to be part of the BAGI team and look forward to joining forces to ensure successful outcomes for the association. I’m also looking forward to building upon the relationships we have with our members.”

COURTNEY ALBRIGHT,
Director of Communications & Special Events

Say hello to Courtney!

For Courtney, joining the BAGI team as the Director of Communications & Special Events feels “like coming home.”

Courtney’s roots are in homebuilding as her mother was a homebuilder and former Association president in Chicago. Her first job out of college was as a Public Affairs intern for the National Association of Home Builders. However, the Great Recession and housing market crash led her to shift and begin a career as a marketing and business development executive in healthcare.

Courtney is eager to hit the ground running, be back in the industry that feels like home and use two of her biggest strengths, event management and communication, to help promote the association.

“This role is the perfect fit and I love the team! I am looking forward to collaborating, meeting more members, building relationships and helping BAGI grow and succeed.”
