Welcome to Zionsville
Located in the southeastern corner of Boone County, and with a population of just about 31,000, Zionsville has plenty of “small town” charm. You can tell a lot about a location from its downtown and Zionsville’s Main Street features an eclectic mix of one-of-a-kind boutiques and shops, art galleries featuring work from nationally renowned artists, and everything from locally owned Italian, American, Japanese, and Mexican restaurants to friendly neighborhood taverns.
Zionsville was named the Chamber of Commerce’s “Best Cities to Live in Indiana” in 2019, SafeWise’s “Indiana’s 20 Safest Cities of 2018,” and one of the “Most Charming Small Towns in Every State” by Reader’s Digest. It is also an Arbor Day Foundation “Tree City USA” community and a Bronze level Bicycle Friendly Community (League of American Bicyclists). The schools are nationally recognized as among the best in Indiana, the business sector is thriving, and the quality of life is enviable, to say the least!
There are 20 parks with 800 acres of beautiful parkland, popular recreational facilities like Lions Park, and an ongoing schedule of festivals, outdoor concerts, and events. With such a variety of amenities and activities, there is always something to do in Zionsville.
There truly is something for everyone in our city.
In Zionsville, you get the best of all worlds: close proximity to all that a big city has to offer in nearby Indianapolis and a warm small-town vibe.
